Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of GameSnap, an AI-powered game-help service operated by Co Digit d.o.o. (“we”, “us”), available at getgamesnap.com and app.getgamesnap.com. By using the service, you agree to these terms.

1. The service

GameSnap lets you upload a screenshot of a game level and receive AI-generated tips, strategies, and walkthroughs. The service is provided on an “as is” basis and improves over time. We do not guarantee that the suggestions will always be correct or complete — game AI is a probabilistic tool, not an oracle.

2. Accounts and free tier

You can try GameSnap once without creating an account. After that, you need a free account to continue with a small number of additional free searches, then a paid subscription for unlimited use. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for any activity under your account.

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under 16 (or the relevant age of consent in your country), you may need parental permission under local data protection rules.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for anything illegal, harmful, or designed to harass others;
• Upload screenshots or content that infringe third-party rights or contain sensitive personal data of others;
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape at scale, or otherwise abuse the service or our APIs;
• Circumvent the free-tier limits, rate-limits, or other technical measures;
• Use the service to build a competing AI training dataset.

4. Subscriptions and billing

Paid subscriptions are billed by Stripe on the cadence shown at checkout (currently €2.99 per month). Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and we do not pro-rate refunds for unused time unless required by law.

If you are an EU consumer and you start a subscription, your 14-day right of withdrawal applies — but by starting to use the paid features immediately you may waive that right under Article 16(m) of the EU Consumer Rights Directive.

5. Intellectual property

You keep all rights to the screenshots you upload. By uploading, you grant us a limited licence to process them through our AI provider for the sole purpose of giving you help in that session. We do not use your screenshots to train AI models and we do not share them with third parties except our processing sub-processors listed in our Privacy Policy.

The GameSnap brand, website, and application code remain our property. The names of games, characters, and items mentioned by the service belong to their respective rights holders; we use them only descriptively to help you.

6. No warranty

GameSnap is provided “as is” and “as available”. We make no warranty that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the AI suggestions will be correct in every case. Nothing in these terms excludes warranties that cannot be excluded under EU consumer law.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or €100 if you have not paid us anything. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (e.g. lost game progress, lost time, lost in-app purchases). Nothing limits liability for death, personal injury, fraud, or anything else that cannot be limited under applicable law.

8. Termination

You can stop using GameSnap at any time and delete your account from your account settings or by emailing us. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms or use the service in a way that risks harm to us or other users; in non-serious cases we will give you reasonable notice and a chance to fix the issue.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the date at the top and, for account holders, notify you by email or inside the app at least 14 days before the new terms take effect.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Croatia. The courts of Zagreb have non-exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes, without prejudice to your right as an EU consumer to bring a claim in the courts of your place of residence.
